VR...

CakeMix at its core is designed for VR.

This is a PCVR game, meaning you will need to run it on your PC and use your headset in that mode. You can connect it to your headset via cable or wi-fi, and if you need help with that just ask.

Desktop...

There is also a desktop mode so if you don't have VR you can still have fun, but wow VR is super cool, just sayin'.

I've tried to keep PC requirements low, and as a result, CakeMix will run on systems with a NVidia 1070 GPU and up.

Thanks for trying it out!

Your support is greatly appreciated, thank you. :)

I want City of Sin 3D to be available on Steam.

please make a browser version

if development on this has essentially stalled, could we at least get an update to this one?

It's still in development, just working on various things for it and also updating my other game. Once an update is ready I'll put it out here.

pls make an oculus quest file

It's not made for Oculus, it's for PCVR, sorry.

I want City of Sin 3D to be available on Steam.

Can you make them completely flat chested?

no, there's no fully flat chested shape in there, but you can make the breasts fairly small if you're looking for that.

(1 edit) (+3)

So here's some suggestions, if you want them.

Glowing eyes

Face tattoos

Demon horns

Glowing demon horns

Leg length slider

Arm length slider

Torso height slider

Abdominal slider

More musculature options and magnitude, especially for the back and legs.

More hair options.

A jowls slider please.

Jaw width slider

Shoulder length slider.

*For each slider, please increase their magnitude, maybe add the option to manually input the percentage number.

Hand size slider and maybe if you can a finger slider.

Teeth types or teeth sliders for canine lengths, preferably a separate slider for upper row and bottom row

Tattoos, and an option for them to glow.

If you're doing apparel, then maybe add jewelry: not just rings, but arm jewelry and leg jewelry.

Edit: Just thought of something, adding a second character to compare heights. That or adding a fixed camera position of the "normal" height for perspective.

Anyway, that's all for now. Now I guess I'll see how you take it or leave it.

Have a lovely day!

Awesome, thanks for the post! Some of those things are already (in some way) in the version over at Patreon or coming up soon (hairstyles, fangs, horns, masculine shapes, tattoos, etc.). But I'll make a note of the others and see if I can work them in.

Another slider I've thought of is a hip width slider. It'd be good for making thicc legs not clip into each other.

If you want some inspiration for sliders I'd recommend Street Fighter 6's, which apparently has some the most comprehensive slider sets I've yet seen.

Another good one is Fallout 4's character creator with the mod "Extended Facial Sculpting - Now With 90 Percent Less Beta" installed. To my knowledge, there's not a character creator out there with with options for such minute detail modification. Here's a link: "https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25087", no videos I'm afraid.
Perhaps you'll find some good ideas to implement from these examples.

can you add some images of said larger sizes??

I can try to put some more screen shots on here but itch recommends not too many. Why not try it out and post some images of what you come up with? I'd like to see what people like, aside from just what I make.

i dont own a vr headset and yet this game doesnt allow for desktop mode... wtf

(+2)

nvm, figured it out, i didnt read the disclaime

my game stucks like this when im in vr, idk why but maybe someone knows how to fix this.bruh

Are they preset models or can you fully customize them like in TVS?

I don't know what TVS is, sorry.

Totally different VR game. Similar genre.

How to use it after opening it? Can you be more specific?

if it could be started even without vr

It can be run in non-VR, by double clicking on the Desktop mode link.

How do you play the game?, what are the controls? I ran the exe file and it opened this screen with a woman in her undergarments with some weird transparent beige blobs coming out of the sides of the screen.

(+2)

never-mind, I ran the bat file and it worked, sorry

(+1)

Glad you got it figured out :)

(1 edit) (+1)

For anyone else having this problem, that view is VR, which is default. If you're on Desktop you'll need to run the 'CakeMix (Desktop Mode)' file (as you discovered). Those are fingers, but yeah they do look like weird blobs in that view, lol

(1 edit)

whenever i try to load any of the versions it says the bat file wasn't found or it won't work like the person above

(3 edits)

Do you have a file called "CakeMix (Desktop Mode)" in the folder? Are you getting an error? Can you give more information?

It sounds like you are trying to run the game from inside the zip file. You need to unzip it somewhere first, or you'll get the no bat file error.

Are you using the itch.io browser/downlaoder or did you download it directly from the downloads page?

Can't wait for guys to be added. Would be happy to purchase this once as a one time payment. Really liked FLSM (shame it stopped velopment though, wanted more positions). But this seems promising too!

(+1)

Guys are coming soon, for sure. CakeMix is still in early development, but once things are solidified I plan to make it available for a single payment. Glad you liked FLSM! I still dabble in it here and there (started adding a new environment recently that I will put in fully once I get time). I think you're the first person who's asked for more positions in FLSM, actually. That might be something for a future update, I'll make a note of it. Thanks for your thoughts!

(+1)

Awesome to hear.

New environment sounds amazing. As for positions, the selection is really good but do wish there were more oral positions and a few more penetrative. I like how some positions interact with the environment which could allow for a lot of creativity for a different place.

Anyways you're super talented, excited to see what comes next regardless. Thanks for the reply!

(1 edit) (+1)

I talked with ViV (my partner on FLSM) and we put some notes down, so when I find some time I'll try to get in there and add some new stuff to FLSM. Thanks again. :)

Hey! Just stumbled upon this. Will you allow model exporting for Blender and other programs? Could make this a very useful tool for VN devs, especially those of us who are stuck with IllusionSoft games as our bases.

(2 edits) (+1)

I have been planning to allow model imports down the line for furniture, props, etc. As far as exporting, not sure I can due to licensing of the characters, which I've licensed but heavily modified. I'd thought about how VN, etc. developers could maybe use the game for renders, so if you have further ideas about that I'd love to hear them.

(+2)

VN devs are probably gonna be your biggest market. Right now, the most robust tools we have are IllusionSoft games like HS2, Ai Shoujo, and Koikatsu. And of course DAZ. A new tool with maps made and submitted by the community, tools for making nonhuman characters and human characters alike, and maybe some animation packs for those of us who can't animate could go a long way towards this becoming  a new standard. I understand about the licensing, though; that's definitely something to be factored in.

I think the easiest feature to implement is to allow rendered shots to have an alpha channel to automatically give them a transparent background. That way, VN creators can at least make sprites of the characters they've created. And, of course, a way to pose them.

(+1)

Excellent, thanks for the input. It gives me some interesting things to think about moving forward. I'll see about adding an alpha channel for the photo mode. Good idea.
